I REALLY like this series!! The author is so knowledgeable about weaponry and armor that it makes the book come alive. Also, I'm learning a lot Europe during this time period. Great books and great author. I will buy almost anything he writes!I just wish Amazon would sell these as soon as they are released. Not sure what the problem is, but I thought I had purchased this some months ago then Amazon sent an email voiding the purchase.

Another good chapter
I hate being forced to write reviews as if they were owed to for the privilege of fasting a book I paid for
Great short stories series from one of the best historical fiction authors ever!
I really enjoyed this story and look forward to the next installment. Characters are developed and are interesting. His knowledge of the period and battle kit is outstanding.
The worst part of this series is that I just realised that I have to wait for him to write more. I started the series a month ago and it has been a nice bite size series exploring Europe at a very interesting time. Action is non stop, characters are excellent and the writing is superb! Thank you master Cameron!
Christian Cameron continues his Tom Swan stories, with Tom heading back to Hungary and more adventures. This is notable for both the period and the geography and history, most of which are completely unknown to the average reader. The Balkans don't appear to have changed much.
Has the usual spelling errors and typos of many British writers these days, but as a follow on to the previous book, it is sufficient. The plot could be somewhat obscure for most readers. There are some good descriptions and dialogue. The characters are believable.
